My name is Julia Gallagher and I am a London-based artist. I paint and draw with all sorts of paints, inks, oil pastels, building and kitchen materials, and particularly enjoy working on unconventional surfaces.

It went on going wrong and I was on the point of giving up when it suddenly went right.

More experiments painting building carcasses onto corrugated iron. I loved the effect from mixing cement into the paint and using masking tape like shuttering.
